Kendall County Special Olympics' Athletes and Families have many opportunities in which they travel for competative meets. The following organizations are ones in which our Team has had wonderful experiences with over the past years. These organizations exhibited the following "gold medal" characteristics:

Accepting of our athletes and their families' unique and special needs and accommodations
Facility was accessible to our more challenged athletes and family members
Athletes, family members and coaches were made to feel welcome and respected
Facilities were welcoming, well managed, offered fun recreational opportunities or exuded a warm, country charm offering a relaxing, calming environment
KCSO's status of being a not-for-profit organization was kindly and willingly considered in rate determinations
Often times, these organizations would go above and beyond in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our organization and it's athletes, coaches and family members

They willingly turn their entire dining room into a one party stop for our athletes and their families each year during State Summer Games. The staff are fun, interact with our athletes and join in the fun, creating a memorable experience for our athletes each year.
