Cole represented Kendall County Special Olympics for the State of Illinois and Team USA in February, 2009, in Idaho.
He did exceptionally well, along with Team USA, bringing home three medals:

Cole has been an athlete with KCSO for ten years. In 2006 he was chosen to carry the Torch for State Games. An
active and long time participant in Special Olympic sport and non-sport activities, Cole consistently displays character exuding
good sportsmanship, honor and integrity. He continued exhibiting his competative edge at World Games, met many
new friends and did a phenominal job representing not only Team USA, but also Kendall County Special Olympics.
